ABOUT THE ARTIST AND THE WRITER MIHAELA CD
Mihaela CD was born in Romania. She emigrated to Canada many years ago with her family and settled in Montreal, Canada. She is artist ,writer and art designer, loving equally the traditional and digital painting. She is member of the Writers’ Union of Canada, TWUC and member of World Poets Association, member of Federation of Canadian Artist FCA, member of National Association of Digital Artist NADA-USA.

She is a member of Fine Art America , Chicago , Illinois and many of her artworks are available in printed collections on canvas, metal , wood or cards.

She is the founder of the magazine: „Poems for my soul”, (Poezii pentru sufletul meu), an art, literature and culture magazine for romanians around the word, the author of the volume of poems „Blessing and torment” (Binecuvantare si chin) published by Celestium publishing house, in Romania in June 2019, the author of the volume ”The Fire within us”(Focul din Noi) poems for the soul, a volume published in April 2020 at the Celestium publishing house in Romania in collaboration with the Globart Universum publishing house in Montreal, Canada, the author of the book ”Sometimes elephants are flying”/”Uneori elefantii zboara” , a bilingual english/romanian volume of aphorisms, reflections and motivational statements, published in december 2020 by Globart Universum publishing house.In 2021 she published at the same publishing house in Montreal, the books: ”Vervet Steps” and ”Love me in each season” and together with the co-writer Trandafir Simpetreu she published the volume of poems: ”Dialogue across the ocean” at Globart Universum publishing house. Mihaela CD participates as co-author in more than 30 anthologies, dictionaries, encyclopedias and interviews books. She is currently working on 3 new books: ”Through my eyes,”Born to be someone (else)”, ”At the madhouse”
Songs writer:
The collaboration with the composer& artist Dan Lucian Corb brought her wonderful songs on her lyrics that can be listened on you tube on the author’s channel Mihaela CD. The collaboration with the soprano Corina Maria Zosim brings her another wonderful song, on her lyrics, a waltz: ”On the heart’ portative” being performed by the composer herself and presented in various shows in 2019 and 2020 in Montreal.
